There is a place in Charlotte called Winghaven which is a really incredible bird sanctuary. In addition to the beautiful birds that live there, there are lovely gardens and fountains. I sometimes go there to just relax and listen to the sounds of the birds and wind rustling through the overhanging vines and trees. I saw this flower floating on a bird bath there, along with the autumn leaves. The way the sun sparkled on it gave it a luminescence.
