I had a friend that I worked with who commissioned this painting from me. It is a pier in Buffalo, New York. When he was courting his wife, he used to take her to this pier for a picnic lunch in the shade and watch the boats. The painting was for an anniversary present as a reminder of all the memories they had shared.
