I grew up in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains, where in the spring and summer soft breezes flow through the valleys with dewy sweetness. The forests are moist and the plants give off an intoxicating fragrance. The sound of gentle breezes soothe the spirit. In autumn, the trees let go of their leaves with explosive passion in bright reds, oranges and yellows so another batch can come along the next spring. They truly teach the art of letting go…

That beauty has seeped into my spirit and shapes my art and other creative pursuits regardless of the medium I’m using at any particular moment. Wherever I go, I take the Blue Ridge Mountains with me in my soul. I’m constantly curious to explore new ways of expressing creativity that truly is the spirit of life.
