Vibrant silk paintings are both and art that can be worn!

I have just begun experimenting with silk painting. I was drawn to the technique due to the vibrant colors you and achieve using french silk dyes. Additionally, I like the fact that they can be wearables as well as frameable artwork.

The French silk dye process is more time intensive than waterbased silk paint, and requires steaming to set the dyes, however the resulting colors are vivid and exciting.
